This website is operated by Very Klear, a Belgian company. This page explains what data the site collects, what happens when you contact us, and what rights you have under the GDPR.

What this site collects
This website does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or any third-party behavioural trackers. It does not store cookies of its own. No account system exists. You can read every page without leaving a trace beyond your hosting provider's standard server logs.
The only data I receive directly through this site is what you choose to send me: an email, a booking request, or a reply to a post.
When you contact me
If you send an email to kjell@kjellv.com, I receive your email address, your name if included, and whatever you wrote. I use that to reply and to keep context if we continue the conversation.
If you reach out on LinkedIn, that conversation happens on LinkedIn's platform under their terms and privacy policy, not mine. I only see what you send me there.
Legal basis: legitimate interest (responding to an inquiry you initiated) or consent (where you actively submit information). I do not use this data for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.
How long I keep it
Emails are kept as long as the conversation is useful or until you ask me to delete them. Booking records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus the period required by Belgian tax and accounting law (typically seven years). If you ask me to delete non-legally-required data, I will.
Third-party services
The site loads a small number of external resources. None of them are used for tracking:
- Google Fonts — fonts are served from
fonts.googleapis.com. Google may log the IP address involved in the request. No cookies are set. - LinkedIn — linked to, never embedded. Nothing loads from LinkedIn unless you click through to it.
- Hosting provider — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) are retained by the host for operational and security purposes.
Cookies
The site currently does not set any cookies of its own, and no consent banner is shown because none is required for strictly necessary technical functions that aren't used here either. If that changes, this page will be updated and a consent mechanism added before any tracking cookies are placed.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the data I hold about you
- Ask for it to be corrected
- Ask for it to be deleted (where legal retention requirements don't apply)
- Ask for a copy of it in a portable format
- Object to how it's processed
- Withdraw consent where consent was the basis of processing
To exercise any of these rights, email kjell@kjellv.com. I respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with how I've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit) at dataprotectionauthority.be.
