Speaking and guest lecturing.
I talk about marketing at startups, what AI actually changes about the work, and why most products end up sounding like everyone else. Most AI talks stop at tool demos. The interesting part starts after that, where the work itself shifts: from prompting a chatbot to handing off real parts of the job.
Talks and workshops
Marketing at startups, AI in marketing, positioning. If that's what your audience needs to hear, I'm your guy. Format and length are yours to set: a talk with questions after, or a workshop where the team leaves having done the thing rather than watched me do it.
Guest lecturing
Marketing, communication, and entrepreneurship programmes. Built around what students will actually meet in their first job, using live examples from current client work rather than case studies from a textbook.
Hosting and moderation
Panels, fireside chats, and on-stage interviews. I have run 35 of these as podcast episodes, which is mostly a matter of reading the room, keeping the guest comfortable, and asking the follow-up question everyone is waiting for.
What I talk about
Three sessions I can give as they are, or reshape around what your audience is dealing with. Every one comes out of client work I'm doing now, so the examples stay current.
AI and marketing
Most marketers are still on Level 1
Everyone adopted AI. Almost nobody moved past using it as a faster search engine. This is the ladder from prompting to delegating, what changes at each rung, and what a marketing team looks like once real parts of the job are handed off.
Positioning
Why your product sounds like everyone else
Positioning gets treated as a copywriting problem and solved with better adjectives. It is a decision problem: who you are for, what you are an alternative to, and what you are willing to be worse at. Worked through with real before and after examples.
Content
A content engine a small team can actually sustain
Why most content plans collapse in month three, and what the ones that survive have in common. Aimed at teams where marketing is one or two people and nobody has time for a process that needs babysitting.
Two podcasts, 35 conversations
Long before any of this was a service, I was doing it for the fun of it. Which is the useful part for an organiser: I'm comfortable on a stage with someone else's expertise in the room, and I know how to get the good answer out of a guest rather than the rehearsed one.
